PolarPro McKinnon 135 Series Chroma CPL Filter 72mm

The PolarPro McKinnon 135 Series Chroma CPL Filter is a circular polarizing filter for photo and video, designed by PolarPro in collaboration with Peter McKinnon. The filter reduces reflections on water, glass and vehicles, and in doing so leaves more contrast and more color depth in your image. When you rotate the filter, you set the effect yourself. This way you capture blue skies more deeply, greens get more color and you give black-and-white images higher contrast.

The filter is made of Chroma glass from Germany, with an anti-reflective, fingerprint-resistant and scratch-resistant coating. It gives neutral color rendition and is sharp enough for sensors up to 8K. The light transmission is approximately 40%. The frame is made of 6061 aluminum and weather-sealed. The filter has threads on both the front and the back. The filter works with Magflip lens hoods.

The filter comes in an aluminum film canister, with a front and a rear cap with threads, inspired by classic rolls of film. Inside each cap, you find a cheat sheet with the Sunny 16 rule for quick exposure adjustments. In addition, the filter comes with a microfiber cloth for cleaning the filter.
