SmallRig Cage for Nikon Z 8

The SmallRig Cage for the Nikon Z 8 is designed to protect your camera and to attach accessories to it. Your camera is held in place with a 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom, a positioning screw and a side locking adapter on the right. Rubber pads prevent scratches, and you keep full access to the buttons, card slots, tilting screen and battery compartment.

The cage has a 1/4"-20 screw hole, a 3/8"-16 screw hole and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, on which you can mount side handles, a top handle, a monitor support, a Manfrotto plate, a power bank holder and a mini V-mount battery plate, among other things. With the 1/4"-20 locating hole on the side, you use a single rod clamp or a magic arm, and with the NATO rail on the left, you quickly attach a side handle. There are also cold shoes for a microphone and LED light, strap holes for a hand strap and QD connections for a QD strap mount.

The Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the bottom fits Arca-type tripods and the DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 Pro and RS 5, so you can switch quickly between gimbal, handheld and tripod. A double-sided wrench is included for mounting and removing.
